Ken Germann

Ken Germann is the founder and director of Ascension Today. Ken is a Unix System Administrator. He has worked in the Information Technology field for 18 years. He was born and raised in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area of Minnesota. Ken has 3 brothers and one sister. His parents still live in the house he was raised in. They will be celebrating their 48thyear anniversary this October. Ken and his best friend and "brother" will be celebrating their 30th anniversary of when they first met in 7th grade. The years of being in an all boys Catholic military middle and highschool. He lived in Minnesota for 37 years. He currently resides in the Orlando area in Florida.
Ken took his first class in Reiki 4 years ago. He has continued to study different forms of Reiki and work through his own healing process and spiritual growth. He is starting his Life Coaching certification in July with the intent of becoming a certified Life Coach. He has his eyes set towards a Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate in Holistic Healing from the College of Metaphysics in Clearwater Florida. He loves camping, being outdoors, listening to music and spending time with his friends and family in his spare time.
Ken is a Fully Certified Reiki Shihan (Teacher) and teaches Japanese Komyo Reiki and has studied with Richard Fialo, Hyakuten Inamato, Tom Rigler, Rick Rivard, Susan Shahidi, Maggie Batts, and Cerise LaCore. He is certified to teach to the Master level - Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, Threshold Reiki, Inner Sun Reiki, Komyo Reiki, Gendai Reiki, Sekhem Seichim Reiki, Karuna Reiki and the Munay Ki. Ken is certified to give the Lightarian Ray and Angelink attunements. He is dedicated to the practice of teaching a more traditional Japanese form of Reiki that focuses on the spiritual and healing aspects and incorporating it with other modalities. He believes strongly in the importance of the healing journey. He has spent several years studying the different forms of Reiki and energy medicine. He has fought his own personal battles growing up a Medium. His own self discovery, acceptance of the path he is called to and spiritual growth has lead him to understand the importance of being willing to take the journey with an open mind, open heart, and being able to share in the laughter and love of life.
Ken has been an intuitive and animal communicator since childhood. He has a strong connection to children. Spirit will often connect him with the parents of Crystal and Indigo children to help the parents understand the blessings that the gifts their children possess. He has experienced one near death experience in his life time. He was 12 years old when he was hit by a car going 65 miles an hour. His body was thrown 110 feet by the force of the car. His left leg hit the bumper of the car as he jumped on the hood of the car. As he was watching his body being placed on the board with the neck brace and Angel came to him and this voice just plainly said,"You cannot stay here. You know that." He replied to the Angel, "I know. I don't want to go back. I get picked on. I get made fun of. I don't fit in." The angel drifted away whispering, "Its not your time." He replied to the Angel,"If I have to go back, They better turn on the sirens. My parents are going to be so angry with me." He arrived safely to the hospital with the sirens. He survived this experience with a broken leg and cracked pelvis. His friends and family often will often ask if he was sure he didn't land on his head and caused some brain damage. This experience was the first indication that there was something different and special about him. Ascension Today is the beginning of that work.
